PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording material, which develops neither environmental pollution nor toxicity, has a high color developing sensitivity, prevents a surface layer from exfoliating under the state being immersed in water, can withstand against a use together with daily dishes or the like and has a very high practicality in a food POS field or the like. SOLUTION: The heat sensitive recording material having a heat sensitive coloring layer mainly made of a leuco dye and a developer includes a 4,4'- bisphenol S as the developer under the condition that the component ratio of a binder to the heat sensitive coloring layer in weight basis is 15 to 40% of the whole thermal plastic matter. |
