PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a part of adhesive for bonding a cover member and a nozzle member projects to the ink ejection hole side to cause variation in the ejection speed of ink drop or the hitting position of ejected ink drop. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording head comprises a channel member 5 provided, at least partially, with ink channels 2 partitioned by a plurality of barrier walls 1 of a piezoelectric material and having drive electrodes 3 on the opposite side faces of the plurality of barrier walls 1, a cover member 6 bonded to the top face of the plurality of barrier walls 1 and having guide holes 8 communication 8 with the channels 2, and a nozzle member 7 bonded onto the cover member 6 through an adhesive and having ink ejection holes 9 communicating with the guide holes 8 wherein ink in the channel 2 is pressurized by conducting the drive electrodes 3 to bend the barrier walls 1 and moved through the guide hole 8 to the ink ejection hole 9 before being ejected as an ink drop. A cut 10 is made in the bonding face of the cover member 6 and the nozzle member 7 around the guide hole 8 of the cover member 6 and/or around the ink ejection hole 9 of the nozzle member 7.
