Sliding coefficient is calculated from formula where g is gravity force acceleration; a is acceleration of sportive equipment or model thereof at predetermined track portion equal to , where b is distance between first and terminating points of any period of speed measurement of sportive equipment or model thereof; S is distance between middle parts of periods; t1 is first period of time; t2 is final period of time. Method allows optimum sliding surface and lubricant for it to be effectively determined and may be applied for sportive events and equipment, such as skiing, snowboarding, sledge event, skating, all kinds of rowing. Method also allows operational factors such as friction of ski sliding surface lubricated with different lubricants under real ski conditions to be completely taken into account.
