Protection element for cables

The element (1) has a hinge with a pivotal axis lying parallel to a plane (5), in which recesses (2) of a protection element are arranged. A stop pivots the protection element limited around a pivotal axis against a carrier into a position, in which the recesses of the protection element are aligned with recesses of the carrier. Another stop is established for limit pivoting of the protection element against the carrier into another position, in which the recesses of the protection element are pivoted into an angle from 70-120 degree against the recesses of the carrier. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a device for connecting a conductor (2) a circuit board.
