PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing service system and an information providing service method capable of quickly responding to information request from an information processing terminal by a server which is an information processor. SOLUTION: This information providing service system is formed by the server 2A having data base, an information processing terminal 3A, plural information processing terminals 3B, 3C, 3D and a communication network 1 as an information interchanging means of the information processors. In the system, if there is no information requested by an information requesting person in the data base of the server (when NO is judged at S2), an information providing request is transmitted from the server 2A to the terminals 3B, 3C, 3D (S7). If there is an information provider in the terminals 3B, 3C, 3D received an information request, the information provider transmits provided information from the terminals 3B, 3C, 3D to the server 2A (S11).
