Formulation (A) of oxidation-sensitive phenolic active agent (I) is obtained by: (i) reducing the oxygen content of aqueous solution of (I) to less than 2 ppm by bubbling in inert gas and/or applying vacuum and (ii) storing the obtained solution (optionally under a blanket of inert gas) in a closed container in which the prevailing pressure is upto 65000, the oxygen content of the solution being upto 2 ppm. An Independent claim is included for the production of (A).
