<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow batch control of electric power supply even in a disk subsystem having more than one disk array devices with a writeback cache function. SOLUTION: When an electric power supply control module 1 receives a signal indicating power shutdown of a distribution device 3, disk array devices 2-1 to 2-4 are instructed for stop processing. After receiving stop signals of all the disk array devices 2-1 to 2-4, a power shutdown indication is given to the distribution device 3.</p> |
