PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiver with a cathode-ray tube that suppresses deterioration in color purity by compensating the inclination of a beam spot. SOLUTION: The image receiver with a cathode-ray tube, which reproduces an image by scanning on a fluorescent screen formed on an inner surface of a panel with one electron beam, is equipped with a compensating coils (21A, 21B, 21C and 21D) being able to form a compensating magnetic fieldsϕ1,ϕ2,ϕ3 andϕ4 that give forces f1, f2, f3 and f4 of opposite direction in the horizontal axis direction to the upper side and the lower side of the beam spot 25 of the electron beam proceeding within a neck part 13 of a bulb of the cathode- ray tube.
