PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to provide a cooling system for a vending machine suppressing an extreme fall and sudden fluctuation in evaporative temperature (evaporative pressure) and having enhanced system efficiency and reliability in the cooling system for the vending machine with a multi-evaporation system cooling many chambers by one condensing unit. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a compressor 12, a condenser 2, a plurality of evaporators 5-1, 5-2, a plurality of expanders 11-1, 11-2 connected with the evaporators and switches 10-1, 10-2 opening and closing a plurality of the evaporators 5-1, 5-2 respectively. The compressor 12 is an inverter compressor having an operating frequency converting means 13, and thereby the suction capacity of the compressor 12 is changed according to the required quantity of refrigerant circulation so as to suppress an extreme fall and sudden fluctuation in evaporative temperature (evaporative pressure).
