SOLUTION: This person confirming device has a memory means 1 storing the user information including a temporary password registered by a user A, an initial password issued to the user side, and a user ID issued to the user side, a collating means 2 collating the initial password and the temporary password inputted by the user when the user A logs in by using the user ID and the initial password with the initial password and the temporary password stored in the memory means 1, and a control means 3 accepting the input of the formal password by the user A and updating the contents together with the user information stored in the memory means 1 when the collation results coincide.
