PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment capable of imparting excellent gloss, moisture, stiffness and tenseness to the hair, especially the damaged hair, improving the combing properties of the hair, preventing split hair, and finishing the hair so as to have flexible and dry feeling. SOLUTION: This hair treatment contains a salt of an acylated product of a silk protein-derived peptide represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R1 is a 7-17C alkyl or a 7-17C alkenyl; R2 is a side chain of various kinds of amino acids constituting the silk protein-derived peptide; n is 2-50; and M is an alkali metal, an ammonium or an onium of an organic alkanolamine).
