A floating cover for an upwardly open liquid reservoir, comprising an edge area connected with the edge of the reservoir. The cover comprises an upper film extending beyond the edge of the reservoir. A rim area thereof is connected with an area adjacent to the edge. The upper film is supported by an inflatable chamber provided beneath and imparting a vault extending up over the edge of the reservoir to the upper film and which is resting against a part of the reservoir or the liquid therein. |
