PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer stirring device constituted so that carrying force can be varied in a rotary tangential direction while maintaining stirring ability in the rotary shaft, direction of a developer stirring member. SOLUTION: A stirring member 105 is provided with a 1st stirring part 101E and a 2nd stirring part 101F at positions deviated in the rotating direction of a rotary shaft. On the 1st and the 2nd stirring parts 101E and 101F, a passing part 101B where the developer passes in the midst of rotating and a non-passing part 101A where it does not pass are alternately arranged in the rotary shaft direction, and the passing part 101B of the 1st stirring part 101E and the non- passing part 101A of the 2nd stirring part 101F are arranged at corresponding positions in the rotating direction, then the non-passing part 101A of the 1st stirring part 101E and the passing part 101B of the 2nd stirring part 101F are arranged at corresponding positions. The rate of the passing part 101B and the non-passing part 101A can be varied in the midst of rotating the stirring member so as to adjust the stirring state of the developer. |
