摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a protective means comprising an element and internal wiring for surge protection from heavily occupying the chip area even when the number of hard macros mounted, in mixture, on a semiconductor chip increases. SOLUTION: An internal digital circuit 11 and internal macros 21A-21C are provided on a semiconductor chip 10. At the peripheral part of the semiconductor chip 10, there are provided a second power source terminal 22A for supplying a power source voltage to the internal macro 21A comprising an analogue circuit and the like, a second ground power source terminal 23A for supplying a ground voltage to the internal macro 21A and an IO pad 25A for an input/ output circuit 24A which outputs the output signal from the internal macro 21A. A p-type well 30P is provided in annular inside input/output pads 12 and the like on the main surface of semiconductor chip 10, with an N-type well 30N provided in annular along the inside of the P-type well 30P.
