PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an accident without intention and the damage of each part by blocking slip out of gear shafts 7a and 7b. SOLUTION: A planetary gear device comprises a planetary carrier 5a having an annular arm part (a) having an inner hole a1 one end of which is released; and a gear shaft 7a for supporting a planetary gear 6a inserted through the release side of the inner hole a1 into insertion holes d1 and 2 in the direction of an axle central line (c) formed in radial surface parts a01 and a02 of the peripheral part of the annular arm part (a). An annular part a2 having an inner hole, having diameter, containing the gear shaft 7a is situated at an end face k1 on the release side of the inner hole a1 of the peripheral part of the annular arm part (a). An annular groove (m) is formed in the inner peripheral surface of the annular part a2 and an elastic retaining ring 40 to regulate slip- out displacement of the gear shaft 7a is removably engaged with the annular groove (m).
