Environmentally acceptable dispersions of fluoro-polyalkenes in alkyl-fluoroalkyl ethers, useful in production of internally coated fine steel tubes for medicinal applications

A dispersion (A) of a fluoro-polyalkene (I) in an alkyl-fluoroalkyl ether (II) is new. An Independent claim is included for the preparation of dispersion (A), by: (i) centrifuging an alcoholic dispersion of (I), (ii) separating the supernatant alcohol, (iii) redispersing the obtained solid (I) containing residual alcohol in (II) to give an intermediate dispersion and (iv) optionally repeating the centrifugation, removal of liquid and redispersion of solid stages one or more times to give a final dispersion of (I) in (II), the residual alcohol being distilled of from the last intermediate dispersion together with (II).
