<p>A lubricating oil composition for refrigerating machines which is obtained by compounding a base oil ingredient (1) having a dynamic viscosity at 100°C of 3 mm2/g or lower and a viscosity index lower than 250 with a base oil ingredient (2) having a dynamic viscosity at 100°C of 25 mm2/s or higher and a viscosity index lower than 250 and which has a viscosity index of 250 or higher. The composition enables the refrigerating machine to employ a fluorocarbon refrigerant or natural refrigerant. The lubricating oil composition retains a proper dynamic viscosity at high temperatures and a low dynamic viscosity at low temperatures. Namely, it has a high viscosity index.</p> |
