<p>A surface material constructed by a fiber structure having a single fiber fineness of from 0.0001 to 1 dtex, a thickness of from 0.10 to 5 mm and a weave density of from 50 to 500 g/m2, and provided on a surface of a body in order to convert at least a part of a surface wave, of a body surface, generated by a vibration into a vibration of the fiber structure, and a method of suppressing an influence of the surface wave by using the surface material. By providing the surface material on each member subjected to vibration, it is possible to effectively suppress a modulation of the vibration due to the surface wave and greatly influencing a human audition, and to prevent a tone quality and a picture quality from deteriorating.</p> |
