The large bundle for the transporting and storing of insulating material rolls has the rolls accommodated inside a high compression module. The modules(2) lying on a pallet(3) are arranged one above the other with their large main surfaces flush in the stack, and at least one of the modules is orientated axially crosswise in relation to the adjacent module. The rolls of insulating material are compressed inside a module, especially by the winding process, in a ratio of preferably 1 to 4.
