PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive alloy powder manufacturing apparatus which arranges the degree of flatness of the alloy powder and manufactures the flake-like powder with excellent yield at a low cost. SOLUTION: In this alloy powder manufacturing apparatus comprising a crucible 2, a heater 3 wound around the crucible, a twin roll 4, a flying space part A, a magnetic filter M and a return pipe C, the flying space part A has a structure with the space extended in the flying direction of the alloy powder, a blade part E for generating the swirl is installed on a part of the area, and a gas flow passage for circulating the inert gas in the flying direction of the alloy powder and a gas flow generating mechanism are added to the outside of the flying space part A.
