FALSE TWISTED YARN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a false twisted yarn having a real twisted part and a bulky crimped part together, having a soft touch and a crispy touch and excellent in surface unevenness when processed to a woven knitted goods and to provide a method for producing the false twisted yarn. SOLUTION: This false twisted yarn is composed of a thermoplastic fiber and characterized by having the real twisted part and the crimped part alternately in the longitudinal direction and having 40-90% fused ratio of a monofilament composing the real twisting part, >=1.1 times of fineness of the real twisting part to the average fineness of the false twisted yarn and <=0.93 time of fineness of the crimped part to the average fineness of the false twisted yarn and the method for producing the false twisted yarn comprises imparting unevenness of thickness in the longitudinal direction to the thermoplastic fiber and then carrying out the false twisting under >=0% false twisting overfeeding ratio.
