<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional film which has a mechanical strength obtained by compression without using a large amount of binder resin and without firing at a high temperature and which can exert various functions and, besides, is excellent in flatness. SOLUTION: The functional film has a compressed layer of functional particulates on both surfaces of a substrate.
