PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent top checks on the top surface of the mouth of a glass bottle, and to improve the fault in opening of a mold for the mouth. SOLUTION: A forming part of the upper part including a forming surface of a guide ring is formed as a different body from the body of the lower part. As a result, the defects of the so-called top checks are suppressed because the heat transfer from the forming part to the body side becomes difficult, to reduce the thermal stress generated in the interior of the glass. Further, the fault in the opening of the mold for the mouth part is improved because the temperature of the body is lowered reversely to the forming part, to reduce the deformation caused by the heat of the body.
