POLYVINYL ALCOHOL-BASED FILM AND POLARIZING FILM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wide polyvinyl alcohol-based film suitable for polarizing films used in wide-screen liquid crystal displays and having uniform optical performance even with large area. SOLUTION: This polyvinyl alcohol-based film is obtained by a drum film formation method so as to set the thickness unevenness in the transverse direction of the film to be <=12%, film thickness 20-150μm and film width >=2 m.
