PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor for a vehicle capable of adjusting a light shielding range corresponding to a physical constitution of an occupant. SOLUTION: A horizontal shaft part 6a of an L-shaped arm 6 is rotatably mounted on a mounting bracket 5 fixed to a ceiling 3 in a car room, and a sun visor body 1 is axially slidably mounted on a vertical shaft part 6b vertically extended from the horizontal shaft part 6a of the arm 6 through a slider 7, whereby a height position of the sun visor body 1 can be adjusted. Further the slider 7 is provided with a plate spring 8 having an engagement projecting part 8a engageable with plural engagement recessed parts 6c formed on the vertical shaft part 6b of the arm 6 to hold the sun visor body 1 at an adjusted position.
