摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and surely reduce a level difference between a platform and a car body floor surface without separately adding an automatic height adjusting mechanism. SOLUTION: This device controls the height of a railway rolling stock floor surface by air supply and exhaust to air springs 12 in a railway rolling stock having an air spring bogie 11 having the air springs 12 and automatic height adjusting valves 13. A cutoff valve 16 is interposed in the middle of air piping 15 for connecting a main tank 14 and the respective automatic height adjusting valves 13. Air piping 17 is arranged for directly connecting the air piping 15 on the side of the main tank 14 more than this cutoff valve 16 and the respective air springs 12. An air supply valve 18 and an exhaust valve 19 are respectively interposed in the middle of the respective air piping 17 directly connected to the respective air springs 12. The air supply valve 18 and the exhaust valve 18 are constituted so as to be opened and closed only for a prescribed time by a timer. Thus, the level difference between the platform and the car body floor surface can be reduced obly by adding a simple piping system without using a height sensor.
