PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosetting resin composition excellent in coating workability, moreover capable of providing a cured coating film having excellent transparency, adhesion to a substrate, water resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and solvent resistance, imparting excellent adhesion to a sealant to the obtained coating film and excellent in spatter resistance and an overcoating for a color filter made of the thermosetting resin composition. SOLUTION: This thermosetting resin composition comprises the following components: (A) component: a copolymer obtained by polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (A1) having one or more t-alkyloxycarbonyl groups in the molecule and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (A2) having one or more glycidyl groups in the molecule as essential components; (B) component: a polyvalent carboxylic acid and/or an anhydride thereof; and (C) component: a coupling agent. The overcoating material for the color filter is composed of the thermosetting resin composition. |
