The invention relates to a method and device for filling butt-ended bags according to which the butt-ended bags are delivered by at least one bag delivery device (1), are conveyed with the aid of at least one bag conveying device (2, 3, 4, 5), are handled with the aid of at a least one first bag handling device, are handled with the aid of at least one other bag handling device (6, 7, 8), and are at least filled. According to the invention, a distinct increase in the filling frequency is attained with regard to prior art methods and devices for filling butt-ended bags in that the butt-ended bags are conveyed between the bag delivery device and the first bag handling device with the aid of stack carriers of a first bag conveying device. Said stack carriers can be conveyed on conveyors and are provided for accommodating a multitude of stacked flat butt-ended bags. |
