PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transferring picture data from a mobile terminal capable of providing the flexibility of performing the method and reducing costs by minimizing the dependence on a PLMN operator. SOLUTION: A mobile terminals prepares both a high resolution photographic picture and a low resolution thumb nail for distributing at low cost the photograph from a mobile terminal into which a digital camera function is integrated. The thumb nail is distributed through a mobile radio infrastructure to a service system, and then transferred to a designated receiver. After viewing the thumb nail, each receiver instructs the service system whether the receiver wants to receive the high resolution picture. When the receiver wants to receive the high resolution picture, he or she instructs whether the high resolution picture should be transferred immediately or later. Then, the service system transfers the high resolution picture according to the instruction. |
