SINTERING EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintering exhaust gas treatment system capable of safely activating an exhauster by using a duct designed with a low working pressure value and a method of operating the same. SOLUTION: The system comprises an electric dust precipitator 3 and an exhauster 4 arranged in series between a sintering unit 1 and a chimney 2. It further comprises an exhauster 5 and activated-carbon moving bed dry exhaust gas treatment equipment 6 arranged in series in the succeeding stage of the electric dust collector 3 as well as a bypass flue duct 7 for conducting the exhaust gas of the electric dust collector 3 to the chimney 2. In addition, the dry exhaust gas treatment equipment 6 finally treats the whole exhaust gas by escaping the exhaust gas from the exhauster 4 to the chimney 2 through the bypass gas duct 7 during startup, gradually opening an airflow adjusting damper 5a provided in the exhauster 5 and gradually closing an airflow adjusting damper 7a arranged in the bypass flue duct 7 to keep constant the pressure between the exhausters 4 and 5.
