The invention relates to a method for positioning blades (I, II, III) on a device for longitudinally partitioning a material web, in which each upper blade (A, B, C) interacts with a lower blade (I, II, III), and which comprises at least one displacement device (8). Said displacement device can be brought into contact with the respective blades to be positioned via engagement means, and is connected to a measuring device (9) as well as to a controllable drive. The invention is characterized in that a sensor (15) on the lower blade to be positioned is moved past by the displacement device (8) and, in doing this, the edges (17) of the lower blade each generate a signal in succession. |
