A loudspeaker is provided which has an integrally formed electromagnetic screen (66, 68) or a narrow passage (61) which attenuates radiation passing therethrough. Such a loudspeaker can be driven directly from a switched mode amplifier such as a class D amplifier. This enables a reasonable audio level to be achieved from a low supply voltage. |
