<p>PURPOSE:To enable use of optional material for a sense line plate by providing an exciting coil for correcting coordinate value in a tablet. CONSTITUTION:The moment a coordinate indicator 7 leaves the face of a tablet plate and goes out to outside of range of reading, a controlling signal C is outputted from a CPU9 and a switching circuit section 10 is switched so that a correcting coil 5 is excited, and coordinate value generated thereby is determined. A correction coefficient is obtained from this value and coordinate value of the coil 5 measured beforehand under a specified condition, and stored in a memory in the CPU9. When the indicator 7 gets near the tablet face and enters inside of the range of reading to generate coordinate value, the coordinate value is corrected using above-mentioned correction coefficient, and then ordinary coordinate processing is performed. Thus, optional material can be used for the sense line plate, and cost can be reduced by simple software processing without lowering accuracy of coordinate reading.</p> |
