PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display device capable of housing a display at unused time without forming the display as a movable type, mountable even on a vehicle short of a space in a dashboard part and capable of setting an opening width of an opening part of a housing part for housing the display according to the size of the display and a use area of a display surface. SOLUTION: This vehicular display device 1 has a display unit 13 arranged in the housing part 5 arranged in the dashboard part, an opening-closing member 15 for opening-closing the opening part of the housing part 5, a driving mechanism 17 having a motor 17 for driving opening-closing of the opening-closing member 15 and a control part. The motor 17 is a pulse motor with an encoder. The control part controls driving of the motor 17 on the basis of an inputted opening-closing command while referring to the pulse output, and adjusts the opening width of the opening-closing member 15. |
