PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to achieve an in-advance prevention against breakage or faulty operation of each compressor by recovering appropriate amount of oil in accordance with the capacity of each compressor during operation of two compressors. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a first compressor(111) and a second compressor(112); an outdoor heat exchanger(120) connected to each compressor; an expansion valve(130) connected to the outdoor heat exchanger; an indoor heat exchanger(140) connected to the expansion valve; and an oil separator(150) connected to the indoor heat exchanger and the refrigerant suction side of first and second compressors, and which discharges separated refrigerant and oil in accordance with the capacity of each compressor. The oil separator is connected to a first accumulator(113) and a second accumulator(114) coupled to the first compressor and second compressor, respectively. |
