PURPOSE: A system for inquiring both-way purchase information and a method thereof are provided to collect purchase information through a bidirectional communication. CONSTITUTION: Information for preparing an item master is collected(400). Data with respect to an advertisement are collected by monitoring advertisements through a plurality of media(410). The collected data are integrated and registered in an item master file and an advertisement DB(435). It is judged whether additional data are necessary in accordance with a result searching information level being included in an inputted bar code and the item master(455). If additional data are necessary, additional information input requesting item is transmitted by a scan meter(465). If additional data are not necessary, a purchase information database is updated based on inputted data(470). Purchase information collected from a panel is processed as data for transmitting to a client(475), and processed data are transmitted to the client through the Internet etc.(480). |
