PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for variously using a memory through address conversion is provided to eliminate a complicate process in a memory access and enable Java to be operated through address conversion without being operated by a virtual OS(Operating System). CONSTITUTION: A memory address converting unit loads an initial address of an actual address and an OS mentioned with a virtual address. The OS is Java. The memory address converting unit enables a terminal area of the actual memory address to function as an initial address of the memory through an address reverse converting unit. The memory address converting unit designates a certain address area of the actual memory address, designates an initial address and a terminal address of the designated area, and loads the OS. Java is operated at a high speed since it is operated as an independent OS without being operated on other OS. The present invention is applicable to an apparatus using a memory consumed in various controllers, a network system, and a screen processing unit.
