PURPOSE: A network connection apparatus using an Internet phone is provided to easily compose a network and perform a function upgrade at a low cost by using the Internet phone as a networking hub when using the Internet in a general home. CONSTITUTION: An Internet phone body(10) performs a telephone conversation through an Internet dedicated line or a local loop. A function expanding unit(20) is connected to the Internet phone body(10) for performing a hub role between communication lines or various terminals or interfacing various function packs. A peripheral device unit(30) is combined with the Internet phone body(10) or the function expanding unit(20) so that each device connected to the network use a peripheral device in common. A network CPU unit(40) installs a real time OS for minimizing a time delay by an OS and performs a basic control operation necessary for telephone and networking.
