The invention relates to a fireproof material based on ZrO2-ZrB2-C having an improved corrosion resistance and containing 3 to 25 wt. % of C, 20 to 90 wt. % of ZrB2, 5 to 60 wt. % of stabilized ZrO2, and 0.2 to 10 wt. % of a material selected from the group consisting of Al, Mg, their oxides, their hydroxides or mixtures of these materials. |
