PURPOSE: A ventilation fan mounting apparatus is provided to allow a ventilator to be attached in a stable manner to a ceiling board by making the attaching work easier. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation fan mounting apparatus comprises an exhaust frame(20) which is inserted into an attaching opening(5) made through a ceiling board(4) and attached and fixed to the ceiling board through first and second auxiliary fixtures(30,40) and a main body frame(11) which is provided with a ventilator(1) and locked to the frame in a state where the main body frame is inserted into the exhaust frame. The first auxiliary fixture is provided with a slot(34) for locking communicating with a slot(23) for locking of the frame when the main body frame is locked to the exhaust frame and the second fixture is provided with a locking section(41) which is locked in a state where the section is inserted into the slots(34,23) of the first auxiliary fixture and the exhaust frame in its upper end section, a locking piece which is protruded into the exhaust frame through the long holes in its intermediate section, and a receiving piece section(43) which is placed on the ceiling board in its lower end section.
