摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely suppress compression deformation at a front suspension section in a case of head-on collision and securely avoid stress concentration at a strength boundary of front and behind of the front suspension section. SOLUTION: In this frame structure for a motor coach, a side rail 20 made of a thick channel material extending along a longitudinal direction of a vehicle is adopted to reinforce the front suspension section 7. A first gusset 24 in a shape of a plane extending forward along an outside surface of the side rail 20 is provided by welding an inside surface thereof with an outside surface of a front end of the side rail 20 and welding a front end thereof with a third cross member 3. A second gusset 25 in a shape of a plane extending backward along the outside surface of the side rail 20 is provided by welding an inside surface thereof with an outside surface of a rear end of the side rail 20 and welding a rear end thereof with a fourth cross member 4.
