PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize proper positioning and sure lock at connection and disconnection of an IC card 20 in an IC card connector 10. SOLUTION: The connector is provided with a base member 12 having a storage means 26 to store the IC card to be movable between a temporal tacking position and a latch position. The base member is provided with plural conductive contacts 16 to be engaged into a terminal string of the IC card. An ejection member 14 is installed to be movable on the base member and can be engaged into the IC card to be movable between the temporal tacking position and the latch position. A latch 34 on the base member can be engaged into the IC card to lock the IC card at the latch position. A spring 18 is related between the ejection member 14 and the base member 12 to automatically transfer the ejection member and the IC card to the temporal tacking position in backward according to release of the latch 34. |
