<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end-cap mounting rod for an active horn that makes it possible to perform the end-cap mounting and repairing work without power interruption at a required position safely whenever necessary, to cut the number of operators by improving the reliability of electric power supply, and to prevent the deterioration of the horn as well. SOLUTION: This end-cap mounting rod comprises a rod body 1 made of an insulated operating rod and a cap-mounting tool part 2 mounted at the end of the rod body 1. The cap-mounting tool 2 is made up of a first arm 2c fixed to the rod body 1 in such a way as to make its angle adjustable about a first axis 2b, a second arm 2e fixed to the end of the first arm 2c in such a way as to be rotatable about a second axis 2d via the second axis 2d intersecting the first axis 2b at right angles, and cap-holding parts 2f, 2g fixed on the end of the second arm 2e so as to make it possible to insert or remove a cap 3 parallel to the second axis 2d. A plurality of the cap-holding parts 2f, 2g are provided at the end of the second arm 2e to correspond to the plurality of the cap sizes. The rod body 1 makes its length telescopically adjustable.</p> |
