PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the data recording to the area of just after by allocating the unreadable embossed area to the control data zone and also to keep the interchangeability with a disk in the conventional version by adjusting the mismatching of the address. SOLUTION: The optical disk 1 is provided with an information recording track 2 whereon an information signal including the physical sector number is recorded, a guide track 3 whereon a guide signal including the address information is recorded. In this disk 1, the readable embossed area whereon the information signal including the physical sector number is recorded by an embossed pit, and the unreadable embossed area whereon an unreadable embossed pit for inhibiting the read/write of the information signal is recorded, are formed on the information track 2. Then, the guide signal is not recorded on the guide track corresponding to the readable embossed area, and the guide signal is recorded on the guide track corresponding to the unreadable embossed areas. |
