<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely extract two-dimensional codes from a document in which characters and images are included in a two-dimensional code extracting method to extract the two-dimensional codes from the read image. SOLUTION: The read image is scanned by unit of M pixel×N pixel (both are positive integers), black pixel distribution, etc., are calculated for every area of the image and blocks (A to D) that seem to be the two-dimensional codes are detected. An area (D) in which the detected blocks are continuously arranged is detected and the area is extracted as a two-dimensional code area.</p> |
