PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book-like document forming apparatus capable of accurately and surely forming a book-like document. SOLUTION: The book-like document forming apparatus 74 comprises a moisture supply unit 84, a superposing unit 86, an aligning unit 88 and a punch binding unit 90. Further, the apparatus 74 comprises a sensor 108 for recognizing a predetermined mark indicating a size of the document previously executed in the document of a predetermined page of the book-like document, and a binding position regulating means for regulating a binding position to a predetermined position corresponding to the size of the book-like document based on the recognized mark.
