PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a fibrous elastic material, capable of eliminating excess and shortage of a charged amount of fiber raw material pneumatically fed into a mold, without conducting control of weight, etc., over the fiber raw material, and therefore capable of improving quality of the fed elastic fiber raw material. SOLUTION: This method of forming the fibrous elastic product comprises supplying and filling an air-permeable mold 12 with a fiber raw material for the fibrous elastic product by pneumatic transportation, wherein the supply of the fiber raw material is changed so that the mold 12 is not filled with an excess amount of the fiber raw material over the normal charged amount thereof, even when an internal pressure of the mold 12 changes in accordance with the supply of the fiber raw material. The function for changing the supply of the fiber raw material includes a measure for sending the excess amount to sections other than the mold, further includes a measure for stopping the supply of the fiber raw material to the mold itself.
