PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable mounting of a drop-in cooking appliance on a counter top even in the case of an implement body having a narrow width of a flange. SOLUTION: The drop-in cooking appliance comprises the implement body (10) having a shell dropped in an opening (H) provided at the counter top(T), a flange (11) supported via a packing(P) externally engaged therewith by a peripheral edge of the opening, and a top plate covering the body (10). In this case, the packing(P) is fixed to the flange (11) by a positioning fitment (20). A clamping piece (21) continuously provided at an upper end of the fitment (20) is fastened to the flange (11). A holding piece (22) extended toward the packing(P) to hold the packing in a release inhibiting state is continuously provided at the piece (21). The fitment (20) is mounted to be inserted into and projected from a through hole (12) provided at a sidewall (27) of the shell of the body (10).
