PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile support structure that can appropriately retain an object to be inspected at a specific location and further is not restricted by the shape of the object to be inspected in an inspection device for detecting the object to be inspected that has an electric terminal. SOLUTION: Support structure X is provided with a first tray 21 for supporting an object B to be inspected, and a second tray 22 for supporting an object B to be inspected while the second tray 22 can be exchanged for the first tray 21. At least one portion of the first tray 21 is formed so that it can relatively travel in one direction to the object B to be inspected and can regulate the travel of the object B to be inspected in its direction. At the same time, an opening 22a for inserting the object B to be inspected and for regulating the travel of the object B to be inspected in a direction that differs from the direction is formed at the second tray 22, thus retaining the object B to be inspected at a specific position by the first and second trays 21 and 22.
