PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear view mirror base cover applied to a vehicle with a gap between a front end part of a side visor and a rear view mirror base preventing rain from coming inside a cabin from this gap between the front end part and the rear view mirror base even when a window glass is slightly lowered for ventilation or the like during rainy weather, superior in ventilation performance, and providing easy improvement of an exterior finish and an aerodynamic characteristic. SOLUTION: This rear view mirror base cover is provided with a base part 2 mounted on a vehicle body side, and a blocking part 3 blocking the gap between the front end part 9A of the side visor 9 and the rear view mirror base 7.
